Hi Cris, thanks for your comment on kangaroo as food. The aborigines have always eaten kangaroo meat but it has only been in recent years that you'll see kangaroo on restaurant menus and even now in some supermarkets. Cooked expertly, it is a superb meat, as was our mini steaks the other night.

Val, thanks for the info on kangaroos, definitely a dish that is so Australian!
