Sonia at Leaves of Grass posted pictures of her books and invited us to participate, so I wanted to share with you some of my cooking books, that I have been collecting over the years, most of them were gifts, and they remind me of the people I love. The show off bookshelf, there are many more in the cabinet...

I was intrigued by Sonia's suggestion to post photos of our bookshelves, and am looking forward to seeing what people post. I decided not to participate as I don't really collect many books (just library books!), but your photo, Cris reminds me that we too have collected cookbooks over the years, and also a number of years of the Gourmet Magazine. Fun to see your books, and is that a recipe file box at the end of the row in the first photo?

Sonia, I had fun and looking through my books I have been able to find new recipes I hadn't tried for years! Can't wait to see what your surprise is!

Val, I also collect magazines, I have lots of Woman's Day, Taste of Home, Good Housekeeping, and Better Homes and Gardens that has great recipes. I forgot to post them here! Oh, that's a recipe file at the end of the row, it was a wedding gift from my sweet family in the US, they also gave me the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book.
